I am a recent graduate from the University of Texas at Austin, where I completed my PhD under the advisory of Jim McClelland in the Department of Marine Science. My dissertation research focused on seasonal dynamics of fluvial organic matter and inorganic nutrient concentrations in small rivers and streams in Arctic Alaska, in which we employed a combination of field measurements and laboratory experiments to quantify and characterize organic matter pools and elucidate sources throughout the entirety of the hydrologic year from spring snowmelt through fall freeze-up.

More details about my graduate work, as well as the other research projects that I have been involved with, can be found in my Publications and Presentations.

Please feel free to get in touch if my work is of interest to you!
